Review methodology
Every comparison starts with the same six-item basket, ordered on the same day from the same set of listings where listings exist on both services. The testing team places the orders on a Monday morning Porto time and records the submission confirmation, the first QC photo upload, the QC approval window, the consolidation request, the consolidation completion, the international handoff scan and the delivery scan.
The checks we run
- Submission check: how long between payment and an order number, and whether the agent confirmed the seller and size before buying.
- Fit and spec check: label photos, measured chest and length on the hoodie, measured insole on the sneakers, and whether the QC set shows the requested angles.
- Packaging check: box condition, inner wrapping, whether the oversized item arrived without crush damage, and the parcel weight against the declared weight.
- Fee check: item price, domestic shipping, service fee, consolidation fee, international line cost, and any charge added at the warehouse.
- Support check: one scripted question per service, sent at the same hour, with the reply time and reply quality logged.
We run the basket three times before publishing a median and report the spread rather than a single lucky run. Scores are assigned against the five-point scale: 5 excellent, 4 good, 3 adequate, 2 poor, 1 very poor. Hands-on workflow scores we publish sit between 4.0 and 5.0. Retests happen every 90 days or after a policy change, whichever comes first.
